Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PromptGuild — including browsing the website, creating an account, purchasing access, or using the CLI tool — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What PromptGuild Is

PromptGuild is a prompt marketplace where members can browse, submit, and access battle-tested AI agent prompts for software development. The platform includes:

• A web-based prompt library and marketplace
• A CLI tool for pulling prompts directly into your workflow
• A community space for members to share feedback and contribute prompts

3. User Accounts

You sign in to PromptGuild using GitHub or Google OAuth. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your account credentials or API keys with others.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By signing in you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Payments

PromptGuild offers lifetime access for a one-time payment of $5. This is a single charge — there are no recurring fees, no subscription, and no auto-renewals.

Refund policy: If you are unsatisfied, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your purchase by emailing [email protected]. After 7 days, the charge is non-refundable.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never store your card details — see our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Content You Submit

You retain ownership of any prompts you submit to PromptGuild. By submitting content, you grant PromptGuild a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and make your prompts available to members on the platform.

You warrant that your submitted content:

• Is your original work or you have rights to submit it
• Does not plagiarise or reproduce copyrighted content without permission
• Does not violate the rights of any third party

We reserve the right to remove submitted content that violates these terms or community guidelines.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use PromptGuild to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download platform content
• Share, resell, or redistribute prompt content outside your own projects
• Submit spam, illegal content, or content that harms others
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract platform code or data
• Share account credentials or API keys to provide unauthorised access to others
• Violate any applicable law or regulation

7. Termination

We may suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion and without prior notice. Accounts terminated for violations are not eligible for refunds.

You may delete your account at any time from Dashboard › Settings › Danger Zone or by emailing [email protected].

8. Limitation of Liability

Prompts on PromptGuild are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantee that any prompt will produce a specific result, be suitable for your use case, or work with any particular AI model or tool.

PromptGuild is provided on a best-effort basis. We aim to keep the platform fast and reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PromptGuild and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from your use of PromptGuild will be resolved under US law. By using the service you consent to this jurisdiction.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective date” at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email. Continued use of PromptGuild after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
